This week I visited Bradford on Avon Massage for a gifted Holistic Massage with Lindsay.  She has just opened a new therapy room on Market Street, just a 10 minute drive from Bath.  Parking was easy, just at the bottom of the road (and far cheaper than Bath), and just a stroll across the bridge up to the studio. 

Lindsay was very welcoming, she talked me through the type of treatment I would be having, and how it is bespoke based on my mood, health and general feeling of well being etc.  We talked through any ailments or pains, and how I would like to feel after the session.  She put me at ease immediately as she was professional and knowledgeable but also warm and reassuring.  Once on the massage table the treatment began - gorgeous warm towels enveloping your body and the aches and stresses of everyday life just melting away.  Lovely relaxing ambient music and gorgeous aromas of rose and lavender accompanied my treatment, and I'm pretty sure I dozed for a short time as I was so relaxed!
At the end of the hour long massage, I was left to rest with a warming eye mask, and it was a struggle to come back to reality! 

I would thorougly recommend Lindsay, she was able to pinpoint all my tension spots and knead away all the knots and aches perfectly.  The holistic treatment I received is £60 for an hour.  You can find out more about the other treatments offered on the website - www.bradfordonavonmassage.co.uk

I would suggest combining a massage with a gentle stroll around town and some lunch as there are so many lovely shops and eateries in BoA - it's definately worth a visit and is just as pretty as Bath!
